• My 21st Birthday Entry..

  
  "I thought to myself,
  Think this year's birthday ain't gonna be anything great.
  Besides no one would remember.
  Think i'll be quiet 21st birthday after all"

  I was very wrong

  "I never knew that there were people thinking of me.
  People praying for me.
  People singing for me.
  People listening to me.
  & People just waiting to see me smile"

  SURPRISE no. 1:

  Never expected my classmates to celebrate for me.
  I know I've mentioned this previously,
  but seriously, I will remember this till i grow old..
  The day the class I'm in, celebrated a little birthday for me & a friend.
  It was when Kelly was bringing the cake in that i was delighted..
  Then it was when the whole class got together to celebrate with me that i was touched...
  Next it was when Aaron said I always complain that i missed Kelly that i blushed..
  Finally it was when i left that i teared...
  No group of people could have made my day so complete and beautiful the way they did.
  It's here that I could proudly declare to my friends,
  That these are the friends I've sang with, been with and shall remember forever...

  SURPRISE No. 2

  
  
  Last night, just a day before my birthday
  "White Star" said she'll be around Serangoon Gardens.

  So she was thinking of meeting me for a moment.

  I needed to find a good ktv lounge for the gathering on Sat too,

  so I met her after having dinner with me parents...

  All in all she gave me an early Birthday Gift too.

  And as I was waiting for her bus to arrive, i was amazed to see what she'd done.

  She took pictures from my blog, and the words that I said..

  Made them into a CD sized pamphlet.

  I was very impressed.. and very touched.

  Didn't know people remember or bother about the things i say or write..

  Here's what it reads..

  I wonder... "Will i ever get to sing like this again?

  I want to have the chance to give the best performance I can give."

  After singing, I realised i wanted more.
  I couldn't let my last performance be just like that.
  If I could have it again, I'd make the next one Perfect.
  Maybe God will granst me the chance again...

  SURPRISE No.3?
  
  I was sleeping peacefully..
  then at about 12am, i received an sms.
  I don't have the habit of switching my hp off, so it was ringing a long song..
  I got off my bed, dragged myself to the phone..
  pressed a button to stop the ringing and went back to bed.
  Then just when i was going to doze off, another sms came.
  and another.
  and another....
  I couldn't sleep! it kept going on till quite some time!!! haha..
  In the end, i switched it off..

  The funny thing is, in the morning i went to check these messages again,
  and it didn't occur to me that they were birthday wishes!
  Really didn't expect certain pple to message me.
  But it's really nice to know that they actually remember
  Pple like Huili, Huiling, Samantha, Karen, Zijia, Get-A-life???,
  Christina!!!, Jane, Shiwei, Ann, Cailin, Joanne, Adeline, my dearest
  brothers Paul and Jerry, the list goes on and on.
  Gosh even Final Fantasy Alpha forums international sent me a birthday wish. haha
  Thank you all!! I'm so touched...

  SURPRISE No. 4

  I received a call on my handphone at 8 plus.
  "Who would call me knowing I'm working?"
  When i answered, all i hear was "Happy birthday to you.. happy birthday to you.."
  Wow, simple but very nice
  Jesmine called me! haha, but she always play me out.
  So I'll be meeting her tmw haha, anyway it's really a day brightener getting that call.
  What's more when I got home, i received birthday cards!
  And many online messages.. wow.
  It is getting very much more beautiful after all

  SURPRISE No. 5:

  On the actual day of my birthday, when my company got to know of it,
  They actually let me go off earlier like at 11am,
  partly because I've gotta visit the physiotherapist for review again..
  And subsequently, I met my parents for a glorious treat to japanese food at Taka!
  It was very.. erm filling! haha..

  Then after dinner, I went on the meet the brudas + 1 girl.
  Paul, Jerry, Sheng Min and Jane.
  The closest group of friends I have
  Strange though, when I met Paul outside Hereen,
   he said Jerry & the rest were at the washroom.. and asked me to wait outside.
  *Odd isn't it.. it's raining outside and he wants to wait outside*
  Anyway, i went in anyway, and there they presented me with a very lovely gift.
  a new watch! Dang, my Nike watch cannot make it anymore,
  so they gave an Adidas one

  
  Ooo.. that's a watch for someone who looks 21. haha

  Later on, we decided to do something or hang out..
  And me and Jane suggested K-box. haha,
  We're going to have it on sat anyway, but heck.
  It's been such a long time since I've hung out with them...
  let alone sing with them.
  But it was great.. I don't feel any strain on my throat or anything..
  And interestingly, K-Box had a birthday package for me.
  Well, the cut the long story short, I've gotten a present from K-Box,
  had a picture taken from their staff.. had fruits, drinks and a cake!

  No Kelly to sing Duet with me... so here's Sheng Min. haha..
  
  Didn't know K-box had fruits! haha it was a nice desert
  
  I don't know how I sat, but it looks like I've shrunk.. as how Paul described. haha

  oh no!! I forgotten about getting a birthday cake!!!

  Think I'll head down to the bakery later.
  If not, I'll just put candles on everyone's head and blow them out at the party.
  Anyways, received loads of sms too.
  Really touched again, how the least expected people smsed to wish me well..
  Thank you Rachael Koh, Cailin, Elizabeth, Emily, Tina..
  And last of all, but most pleasing of all, Kelly..

  SURPRISE No. 6:

  I spent my whole friday morning playing my PC game.
  And I got a very pleasant surprise...
  Behold, The NEW Counter-strike Condition Zero update!

  
  
  These are in game graphics!! They changed the model skins, the sound
  and everything!! Now it's really very realistic. The details are
  fascinating!!!

  THE BIRTHDAY GATHERING

  Which I could put the pictures up, but the lighting's really bad.
  But it doens't take mere pictures to remember certain things...
  This birthday shall always be a day to remember
  I had the greatest friends and dear ones come to have dinner with me!
  We had dinner at the Garden Grill at Serangoon Gardens Country Club!
  I never wanted a posh touch actually,
  My initital plan was a poolside party! or a bbq cum lounge party!
  Unfortunately, things don't always goes as planned?

  The table was like long...
  And i was seated strategically in the centre.
  Thus began a night of chatting, laughs and catching up.
  I had a good neck exercise, twisting 180degrees left & right.
  Thought Kelly won't come though.. but she came
  And it was pleasant to see all my dear friends too!
  Joanne, Tina, Cailin and Aaron was a great bunch.
  My chinese wouldn't have gotten better if it wasn't for them. haha..
  Kelly's the same, exquisitely radiant carrying that awesome smile.
  Vanessa's striking beauty led everyone to believe she's my sister? haha..
  Nicole's smile kept making me wonder, is there something wrong with me?
  Liya looked lost, but she soon gotten comfortable i think..
  Eve's demure and lovely...
  Paul and Shaq must be happy to be surrounded with so many girls.
  Jerry and Jane.. in their own world again. haha..

  After that it was Karoke at K-Garden.
  It was awesome, too bad Kelly & Joanne couldn't join us.
  Later, Cailin and Tina stayed at my place!
  Well kind of.. we chatted and shared stories till 6am!
  More importantly I revealled to the 2 girls my most powerful skill!
  haha, but it was a great time. Really
  I wish i could sum up everything really..
  So, let me tell it to all of u throught a new song I'm writing for someone
